DriveThru / OneBookShelf staff just returned from our first annual company retreat. We spent this week in the beautiful mountains of Utah, where we had a chance to meet up (some of us for the first time in person!), share and discuss, plan, play games, bond, and enjoy a really nice few days together.
Here's a picture of us all at Bryce Canyon National Park. Only a couple part-time members of our extended team couldn't make the trip, so you're looking at nearly the entire DriveThru family, together in one place for the first time ever!
Now we're back, more focused and more energized than ever before. There are great things to come!
A NEW FADING SUNS BUNDLE
This past January, the Bundle of Holding launched an offer featuring Fading Suns, the Holistic Designs SFRPG of humanity's fate in the Known Worlds of the sixth millennium. This sequel is kind of a fix-up: The January offer promised the Revised Second Edition Fading Suns rulebook (2009) from RedBrick Limited, but by mistake it instead presented the Revised Edition (2012) from FASA Games.
Now, this all-new Fading Suns Bundle +2 really, truly, actually presents the genuine Revised 2E rulebook (this time they mean it!), along with the Fading Suns d20 rulebook and a new collection of supplements.
The revived 13th Age Bundle, originally presented to great success in December 2015, brings back the bestselling Pelgrane Press FRPG plus many supplements and adventures, including the spectacular living-dungeon campaign "Eyes of the Stone Thief."
Speaking of "spectacular," you still have a few days left to get the Vampire 20th Anniversary Bundle starring the giant full-color 529-page core rulebook marking two decades of White Wolf's original Storyteller game, Vampire: the Masquerade. This week, yet another new title got added!
Remember, as always, when you buy a Bundle of Holding offer, the titles are added automatically to your DriveThruRPG Library.
Prepare to enter the cyberpulp worlds of Soldiers of Misfortune, where bareknuckle boxing a giant shark person and jumping from a 100-story building to escape corporate security androids is all just part of an honest day's work.
Players use a standard deck of poker cards to determine the outcome of any shenanigans they find themselves in, be it bluffing your way to the VIP area or resisting the effects of a deadly virus.
• Complete character creation guidelines. • Comprehensive rules for social and combat interactions. • Over 40 pages of guns, cybernetics, drones, and armored combat suits called MExAs. • Sample enemies to help kickstart your first few missions. • A moderately crunchy, yet easy-to-learn tactical RPG that encourages cheating and hustling to make your way through the galaxy.
The Goon™ Roleplaying Game is based on the multiple Eisner Award-winning comic, The Goon™, by Eric Powell.
Join the crime syndicate — or play as Goon, Franky, and the rest of their crew — and fight off the rival gangs what's encroachin' on your turf, while you collect on Goon's debts and whatnot. You might also succeed at fighting off the tide of bleak suffering that's set to consume yer soul. Then again you might not!
But while you're contemplatin' the psychology and so forth, make sure to watch out for Zombie Priest and his legions of groanin', brain-chomping zombies. They're a constant hassle.
If that ain't bad enough, there's also crazed-yet-brilliant Dr. Hieronymus Alloy and his robots goin' on a rampage every other week. You also want to keep a lookout for swarms of chug-heads... what they call "changelings." Yeah. They're nasty little buggers.
Believe me, pal, we ain't even got to the worst of it yet. You sure you wanna join up with Goon's crew? Yeah, sure ya do!
Travel the long roads and deep seas in search of power and experience danger, or tackle the wilderness to hunt monsters and face death.
Settlements large and small dot the black expanse with the promise of sanctuary, life, and community. These bastions of civilization present cold comfort, when playing host to vampire warlords and sadistic Cainite faiths. Whether led by a Prince, a coordinated belief, or hounded by monsters from without and within — no domain is truly the same as another.
• Domains scattered across the world, from small fiefdoms to massive cities. Bath, Bjarkarey, Constantinople, Rome, Mogadishu, and Mangaluru each receive coverage. • Apocrypha including plot hooks, new Paths, and mysteries to explore in your games. • A how-to guide on building a domain within your chronicle, including events and servants necessary to make a domain as functional or dysfunctional as you wish. • A study on warfare in the Dark Ages period, so combat in your chronicles can gain authenticity and lethality.
NOTE: This is the Advance PDF. We will be tweaking it based on errata from buyers and then creating the final PDF and PoD files.
Purchasers of the Advance PDF will receive a coupon for the PoD version so that their combined purchase amount is same the cost as buying the PDF + PoD combo.

As any good DM knows, preparation is the key to a great adventure. The more work done in advance, the smoother the play session. And nothing turns players off faster than a DM fumbling for the right piece of information in the middle of a fast-paced session.

Work in Chicago long enough, and you get used to a lot of weird things. When a corp puts out the feelers for a team of runners to pull off a sabotage job on another corp, it seems refreshingly simple. In fact, it’s a classic shadowrun set up: two corps beat up on each other for a little while, runners make themselves a few nuyen, and the world keeps moving around.
But this time, it’s not that simple. (Of course it isn’t.) Whenever something of value is going through Chicago’s Containment Zones, people are going to catch the scent — and when they do, they’re going to want a piece of it. Runners are going to find themselves caught between multiple forces in the city, faced with the kind of choice that always seems extra difficult in the Sixth World: Figuring out what’s the right thing to do.
"A Little Wetwork" is the latest Shadowrun Mission, providing a burst of adventure for home games, convention games, or any game set in the Sixth World. It includes stats and rules for use with Shadowrun, Fifth Edition, but plot elements from the game could also be used with Shadowrun: Anarchy with some adaptation.
