Atlas Hârnica map I6 covers part of central Hârn and includes the Chelna Gap, Plain of Towers, and northern Shava Forest.

The wooded plain of the Chelna Gap is crossed by the Salt Route, the main land corridor between eastern and western Hârn. A trading post known as Trobridge Inn lies at the western end of the gap. The region is the home of the generally hostile Chelni barbarian tribes.
The Plain of Towers was once home to some of Hârn's earliest inhabitants and is now within the range of the Chelni. The Plain is known for the many barrow mounds where the Jarin and Chelni buried their dead for centuries. Many ruins dot the Plain, chief among them Elkall-Anuz, the capital of Lothrim the Foulspawner, the despot who ruled much of central Hârn from 110 to 120 TR. Elkall-Anuz contains one of best-preserved structures left by the mysterious Earthmasters, Hârn's earliest inhabitants.

The deep, dark Shava Forest is part of Evael, the kingdom of the Sindarin, and few non-Sindarin are permitted within. Most of Hârn’s Sindarin population live in isolated clanhouses scattered throughout the Shava Forest, which has a reputation for all manner of strange enchantments.

This atlas map supplements other Columbia Games products, including Plain of Towers, Salt Route, Trobridge Inn, and Evael.

Great product, but REALLY, REQLLY wish the cover downloaded along with the document. Just having the document without the cover makes it look like I stole it, when I paid good money for it.

I love Harn. I've been using it since it first came out. But, it's ridiculously priced. I bought this when it was on sale for $0.99 and I was still disappointed to find out it was a single map page just ~60 miles across. No guidebook to the region, only a map legend. The detail on this map is incredible, but when I first started using Harn the detail they presented was well above what others were putting out and worth every penny. Nowadays, other companies are producing products of similar detail, but at a fraction of the price. I no longer find it worth my money to pay full price for something I'm going to modify for use in my multiverse anyway. A dollar a page which is what I hear some products turn out costing is just outrageous, especially when you take into account that it is only a PDF and not a physical copy.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
