I love the concept of this ultra rules light system. TTRPGs have always been about telling a fun story as well as being total badasses. The character creation in this system is phenomenally tailored to unlock the imagination of new and old players of TTRPGs such as DnD 5e. The spell casting and limited resoure tracking in this game really frees up combat and the lack of stats really helps new players who do not want to memorize which bonus applies when and goes where. This game is perfect for getting creativity going. On that note, DM Scotty is a really creative person. If you have ever seen his youtube craft videos, you can attest to this. Really a standout game for veterans and newbies alike.

I will buy every book Runehammer makes. I've been a huge fan of Brandon's ideas and RPG mindset since the old Drunkens and Dragons days. The ICRPG system is my go-to RPG system currently and its simplicity has allowed me to tinker with my own ideas like nixing rolls to hit in favor of subtracting a revised AC from damage without having to rework 2000 abilities and spells to try it out.

I promise this book will not dissappoint and the Runehammer community at large is one of the best in terms of support, creativity/sharing ideas and just overall good vibes.

The mechanics of the system are so easy to use and make so much sense while being so flexible you really can use it for any hame type. Scotty really has kept all the fun parts you love about ttrpg but took out all the parts that slow you down and take you out of the game.

This thing is what all the cool kids are playing, Straight from the underground. From the mind of the mad man DM Scotty. It's a mayhem engine that never derails. If Dungeons and Dragons is pop music, EZD6 is METAL. It's fast, furious and a little bit insane.

A rule system that feels like it was written around "the rule of cool". fast and rules light, but just the right amount of depth and crunch.

EZD6 is the solution to a question I've struggled with in my 40+ years of being a game master: Why do so many games have so many unnecessary rules? Most games pile rules upon rules in a bizarre and unnecessary proliferation that only increases the amount of time lost to pausing the game to look up obscure rules and rules lawyering.

Not EZD6.

EZD6 functions elegantly to strip away every rule that is unnecessary for play, every bit of unnecessary math, to create an elegant, swift, intuitive system that can be quickly grasped, learned, and taught. Required math is single digit addition (using Karma points to enhance rolls); the majority of rolls rely on number recognition, which allows for swift resolution.

The magic system is quickly resolved and improvisational (promoting creative solutions and freeing the player from memorizing reams of dead trees worth of information) while also being chaotic and unpredictable.

I've already begun an EZD6 campaign, and the players spend far more time actually role-playing (rather than asking rules questions and trying to figure out optimized combos) than with any other system I can remember over decades of gaming.

If you like rules-intensive systems, then EZD6 will not likely be your go-to game, but for for someone like me who thinks that an RPG shouldn't reward the player with the most and deepest rules knowledge over the first-time player, who wants to keep the disruptions to immersion at a minimum, and who simply wants to get to the core activity - role-playing! - with rules that support the GM and provide quick resolutions, then EZD6 is a game you need to try.

Great Book hard cover came with in a week. Not run the the system yet book looking forward to running the game with minimal book keeping required and rules that dont get in the way of RP

EZD6 is an awesome game! Simple yet exciting. Easy to learn for new players but still satisfying, even for experienced gamers. Great for a one-shot or a long-term campaign. Highly recommended.

ezd6 is a fun, dynanic tabletop roleplaying game designed for all genres. It is rules light yet full of substance, and all you need are a bunch of six sided dice! The author and publisher are gamer geniuses. There is a vibrant community behind the game and additional settings are in the works. Highly recommended!

I love this game so much I tossed out all my others for now - and converting all my adventures into the EZD6 framework - because it is EZ that is why... and fun too

One of the best lightweight rules you can find. Very hackable as well.

Fantastic! Simple, versatile (the base mechanics can be used for any genre, play style, etc.), and intuitive. The method of play detailed in the book provokes GMs(RRs) to lean into the story! This game engineers and encourages cinematic combat and heroic flourishes that more cumbersome games prevent by micromanaging the GM with extra rules for various situations. Highly recommend this game. You will experience more dungeons and dragons in this game's fast paced adventure, than basic DnD because during your 3 hour DnD combat; EZD6ers have finished three combats, saved the world, built their own fortress and manifested an army.

Wow! This book is amazing on so many levels. First, as a RPG this game is fast and fluid. Gameplay flows quickly and is an all-around blast to play (and run). Second, even if you plan to never run this, you'll want to get a copy just for the ideas! This thing is like a mad-scientist's toolkit for RPGs. If you plan to tweak a system or create your own, look at this masterful product first and see how/what this book has done, for inspiration. Third, masterclass layout and presentation. This game is incredibly easy to learn and reference. Fourth, about a third of this book is the mechanics gm advice. The other two-thirds are some amazing settings, bestiaries, and spells. This one book has ideas/useable material for space scifi, medieval fantasy, surival pre-historic ice-age, weird western frontiers, and even super-hero charged cities! If I had to slim down my TTRPG shelf to a dozen books, this one would make the cut. Impressive addition to any gamer's collection.

One of the best systems I've ever play. I am so thankful I found it. Strikes the perfect balance between rules and flexibility. The way its designed lets you be creative both in adventures and during combat. It feels like what you always wanted an TTRPG to be: fun, exciting, and with little to no "rules break" and therefore optimal immersion. It can absolutely be used for long term campaigns! Not having 'levels' is like having your eyes opened for the first time: no more useless power or HP creep, no more linear level path you have to follow. Players advance through the narrative, new items, abilities, knowledge, relationships and the stories they make along the way.

RPGs are suposed to be about telling incredible stories with your friends, not minutiae of looking up paragraphs of rules in the heat of battle. The magic system is like no other, the character creation is a breeze, and you can learn the rules in 5-10 minutes.

This is a great system that reflects the OSR, but with an the pros of modern game design. Its everything you wish your D&D game was.
