The DIY D&D scene shows its asymmetry yet again. For $2 you can get a pdf more usable, imaginative, atmospheric and fun than any $75 hardcover with a glossy cover cranked out by the big-name companies. This adventure is has it all - a dynamic situation, vivid imagery, strange and difficult situations, nasty monsters, cool and unique treasure! Oswald conveys his ideas with few words so the DM can get the message and RUN THE ADVENTURE. I'm going to cram it in my game at the very earliest opportunity. I dare you to not have a blast with this module. Just buy it already!

Checked this out because of the glowing reviews. I was very disappointed to discover that it is highly derivative of the dnd 3E adventure The forge of fury.

That being said there are some nice ideas in it. I like the adventure setup of the dragon slowly gathering an army the more time the players spend in preparation. I also like how dilemmas are presented to the players.

This is amazing. It respects my intelligence. Gripping hooks and plot threads. I came here from tenfootpole.org and I am not disappointed. I'll be running this this weekend as DM. What a work. I'm going to write MY adventures in this style from now on. So rich!

I've reveiwed over 1500 adventures. Four have gotten 10's. Then is one of them. It is magnificent.

The other review of this is stupid. This thing is great.

This adventure is great, evocative - and pretty brief. There are some typos and also confusing wording on occasion, but that's easy to ignore.
