Was very pleased with this content, as it fits right in with a desert campaign I am creating. Planning on using almost everything contained within in my setting. I really like the additional equipment options, and look forward to using some of the hazards to break the cycle of pure combat with exciting and dangerous monster based encounters. Even if you are just planning on having your party travel through a desert area, would recommend some of these to really add some depth.

I'm planning on running a 5e campaign within a Dark Sun inspired setting. This resource is worth the price. I will definitely be using the many different descriptions of terrain, the rules for heat exhaustion, food/water, foraging, quagmires (quicksand), and especially the new Desert Nomad background. I've heard good things about other resources in this series as well and will buy more if needed.

Another smash hit to this series from Critical Hit and author Davae Breon Jaxon. I bought the PDF and loved it so much I went back and picked it up in softcover hardcopy as well. This supplement is at the same price as the previous Arctic-Cinematic-Environs, but has nearly ten more pages of material!! Some of the introductory material does overlap with the previous supplement, but the vast majority is new concepts and descriptions, and I found it well worth every penny. My highest recommendation goes on this work and on this series.
