Exquisite Agony is all you can expect from the hell sets in shadow of the demon lord. The faerie's hell and his devil master are really good, come with tastefull secrets and work well with the background of SotDL. Schwalb and his crew haves take great inspirations of the christian's hell lore and recycle some good idea from other game.

I don't gave the 5 star because of the adventure. The start is good, it's introduce you a crew of pilgrim, different locations for the quest but the twist of the story is too obvious, can be stop by any PC with just ordinary social interaction and the central NPC cans just die in a random encounter. This is a really cheap and weak railroad adventure, I wonder if there is a test to check the toughness of the story. Scwalb needs to focus more on the adventures and improves because this kind of failure tends to be the norm.

After Uncertain Faiths this is probably my favorite supplement for SotDL, and a great insight into the dark fae (or devils). It contains many interesting (depressing maybe, but totally fit the tone of the game) secrets about the setting (GMs, trust me, you want this book).
