An interesting module to say the least. Kelvan is weird a quirky and my PCs definately noticed something off right off the bat! However, I found the ruin a little hard to dm as the module is unclear about consequences for some actions and I struggled to find ways that I can reasonably advise the PCs how to solve a particular puzzle without ruining it.

Long and short of it, prep this module waaaaay in advance. Take time to read and understand every mechanic as it will make your life easier as a DM

My players really enjoyed this module. They spent a good portion of time investigating the mystery surrounding the situation. None of us had played any season 2 content besides HotDQ so they or I did not really know much lore surrounding the area, which was somewhat of a turnoff. I feel it was saved by one of my players who joined the table for this session who happened to be well versed in season 2 lore and was vastly helpful to all of us in understanding what was happening.

TLDR, the players loved this adventure. Good mix of RP, mystery and satisfying combat near/at the end. Read up on season 2 lore if you are unfamiliar. will help A LOT with player's questions

This is a nice little module that leads into something bigger and more lucrative. Really helps set the scene for the forge of fury and I could tell my players were intrigued by this. a great way to introduce newer dnd players to the dungeon crawl. Has some interesting little quirks and its the mod ive run the most due to its versatility for any party size/composition. Love running it!

My players enjoyed this adventure a lot. More of a combat mod than some others which my party appreciated and the rewards are pretty decent too. A little bit more roleplay opportunity would have een an added plus but its still a great mod for beginners

I ran this module for a group of 5 3rd level characters. I found this had a little bit of everything for them as some were more combat oriented but again, the others wanter more storytelling and RP. I enjoyed the way they organised the town defences as it gives everyone a chance to use what they are good at to help out. Also, a nice big fight at the end and a bunch of XP (well, for tier 1 anyways) and a great ,magic item. Thought provoking, challenging and just rewards make this a great module for experienced plays or newbies. Great mod!
