Now this is amazing! Brilliantly written and dynamic characters. Perfect to dive in and play, system nutraul, delicious art. Complete for PCs, for NPC's or for fallen Hero back stories if you're an evil Dm.... and you are an evil DM.

This is a work of love. I've never had a book in my hands before that was so densly with things I'll actually use... as an example, I wrote what I think might be 3 months of game play off of two pages of ideas from the Alfhiem section... it's like having that 1 page of Index Card notes you create for your Game Night, or write up in your Journal, already made for you. Tight enough to be meaningfull, but loose enough for you to DYI with the PC's decisions. This is a Master Work. Runehammer is the Master of getting you to think deeper about the game by saying so much more, with so much less. I love this book.

ICRPG CORE Is the best table top book on the market. I have three different groups I play with and we have switched all our games to it. Its rules light but very well designed to leave you room to adapt it to the kinds if players out there. It's by far the most flexable system I have ever played. Games are much faster which drives story and engagment. There is a detailed GM section which offeres grade A advice on encounter and adventure structure. As a GM I did a play test for some friends and I crafted the entire night in under 20min. Well worth the purchase.
