Very good scan. The quality of print is very good and also the booklet images and the map are really good.

It's a pity you cannot remove the illustration booklet, but otherwis I think it's a very good product.

The POD looks beautiful! I don't mind the placement of maps and illustrations within the book. The only gripe I have (minor one), the first 5 or six pages show the scan of the pages slightly crooked, because of this text continues to the very edge of the paper. I verified that nothing was cut off though. Overall, for the price and quality I recommend it.

The quality of the reprint is great, durable, and the clarity of the images themselves are more than I could have hoped for. Very pleased with the out come. Only wish that other classic mods and booklets were available in print and not just as a PDF.

One of the most painstaking yet rewarding dungeons of all time. chalked full of traps. some of the nastiest tricks of any dungeons i've ran. Final room is the ultimate betrayal, all of that treasure in front of you and you just NEED to take it all. Big mistake. long live second edition!

Bought the POD version. I'm happy except for one thing: the order in which its been printed means that you can't "pull-out" the "pull-out" section in the middle because its got Adventure on one side with Pull-out on the back of two pages.

Which means I'll have to print some of the pictures off when I run this. Which was entirely the point of getting the the POD version. That and the beautiful cover :)

Yes I'm going to run it - as a "break" for a 4e party that's been going for, well since 4e started and going through the 4E version of the story; they'll hate it!

So: yes looks good on the shelf, but no can't use it as is without printing/copying/butchery :(

The module is of course a classic. This review is of the print version offered here. A few complaints: The maps are not printed on the inside of the cover. Not a biggie, but you really need to be able to separate the maps from the adventure.

The illustration booklet is stapled into the module. Originally it was a seperate book. Again, it's kind of necessary to be able to show the players the illustrations, without having to show the module, or try to keep your place, etc.

Other than these 2 things, I like the printing. Text is sharp and clear, cover is sturdy and has a nice level of gloss. Art looks great.

Let's face it; if you're reading this page, you've heard of tomb of horrors. What you really want to know, is does it live up to the reputation? The answer is yes. Unless your group is at almost OCD levels of paranoia, there will be deaths.

Decent scan - map is very clear.

Text pages could have done with being flattened on the scanner more as you get a bit of page curl towards the centre staple fold, but everything is legible.

You get two versions of the illustration booklet - one as scanned ( greyscale ) and one post-scan processed ( B&W )

The dungeon itself is ridiculously murderous - reads like something a socially awkward DM designs to take his life-frustrations out on unsuspecting players to make himself feel like he has some self-worth after all.

Having said that, I cherish my dead-tree version from 1983!
