Hammercalled: Quick-Start

The Hammercalled Quick-Start contains all the rules you need to play the Hammercalled Roleplaying Game, an adventure for 3-5 characters, and eight pre-made characters. Set in the science-fantasy universe of the Hammercalled, players take on the role of agents fighting against a malignant force that threatens the universe.

The Hammercalled Roleplaying Game combines a fast-paced ruleset that allows Game Masters and players to tell engaging stories with lean but mechanically deep rules that allow characters to feel like they belong to an engaging and sprawling universe.

Centered on a d100 "blackjack" style system, almost every action in the game is resolved with a single die roll with the degree of success calculated using the margin that a player scores on their rolls.

Entirely free to play, modify, and build upon, the Hammercalled Roleplaying Game ruleset allows the creation of deep, vibrant worlds. The system encourages high amounts of detail while abstracting common roadblocks. The systems and characters in the Quick Start are expanded upon in the free Hammercalled Rules Reference, allowing for players and Game Masters to carry their adventures forward.
