Complete Spell Cards - Updated!

All the spells from the 3.5 System Reference Document (SRD) in easy to use Spell Card format.
A great boon for players and Game Masters alike - you'll never again need to search the core rulebooks for those pesky spell descriptions and parameters!

(Disclaimer: This PDF is not for on-screen-usage. You'll need to print out the Spell Cards.)

The spells are sorted by class - for instance, if you need just the level 0 to 3 druid spells, you just need to print out the first pages of the relevant document (03druid.pdf in this case). All the spell's parameters give only the relevant information for that class - no divine focus for bards, for instance. Additionally, every cross-reverence was expanded - no spell tells you to search other spells for information anymore!

Ten PDFs in one ZIP (4.48 MB total):
- Introduction (26 pages)
- Bard (40 pages, 164 spells)
- Cleric (70 pages, 304 spells)
- Druid (40 pages, 169 spells)
- Paladin (12 pages, 45 spells)
- Ranger (14 pages, 51 spells)
- Sorcerer / Wizard (86 pages, 374 spells)
- Assassin (10 pages, 31 spells)
- Blackguard (8 pages, 26 spells)
- Adept (NEW! - 16 pages, 63 spells)

If possible, print out the Demo before purchase. If you don?t like the result of those pages, you won?t like the Complete Spell Cards.

Gaming Groups License: you (the customer) may make free use of the Complete Spell Cards in your gaming group (up to 8 people per purchase) - you may share the included documents anyway you want under those people, but not any further: outside of your gaming group the normal copyright laws apply.
For the average gaming group (5 people) that's less than $1.40 per person for the Complete Spell Cards.

All updates to the Complete Spell Cards will be free for everybody who purchased them.

Make sure to check out our free but blank Spell Cards (these ARE part of the Complete Spell Cards ZIP for your convenience).
If you only need a single class, check out our Vendor page at RPG Now for the Class Spell Cards (currently all classes included in the Complete Spell Cards are available seperately).

Note: the Cards are of course of the same size, front and back, and aligned at the exact centre. If you've got problems aligning the cards, make sure to disable duplex printing, as that might cause issues.

"While not the leather-bound tome the word conjures up,
these handy cards could easily become your spell book."

"By breaking the spells up by character class, it makes things a little easier
for a player of a specific class to just print out that section."

"Die Spellcards sind meines Erachtens eine der interessantesten
Spielhilfen f?r d20, eine echte Bereicherung!"

Do not buy. you cant make this into a card deck due to misaligning of the backs of the card... waste of money if you plan on making cards

In response to Jason's review, yes they are exactly as advertised. Yes, the information on the cards is freely available but it would take meany hours to recreate this set. It's worth under $4 to have this done for me, even if I have to print them myself.

Also, there is the overlooked advantage of being able to make multiple sets for multiple spell casters.

Unfortunately, this product is exactly what it advertises itself to be. A PDF version of what amounts to freely available info that can be found on the SRD.

That essentially means that this product by definition, only exists as a time-saver over making your own note-cards for the spells in the PHB.

Even worse, it does not include any spells out of the SRD, so if you are looking for help on spell lists for say, your favored soul, or anything from a book with "complete" in the title, or even the spell compendium, look elsewhere.

It's not so much that there is any false advertising by the publishers on this matter, but more that the actual amount of utility offered here is somewhat underwhelming for a product that costs $5 and then requires the user to
print off the product by their own devices. It would be different if it was a physical pre-printed product, but honestly I see no reason to really bother with these unless you are really, really pressed for time...See more

SRD is the System Reference Document. Its all of 3.5 that is available for free, with no copyright. So few/no supplement books.

Is there any chance of a print-on-demand version?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
