A Tome of Power

For Dungeons and Dragons 5e. Delve into magical mysteries and discover the myriad Masteries contained within this tome, offering modifications to existing spells; allowing them to be used in new and unforeseen ways! Each one certain to bring a breath of fresh air into your campaigns, in whatever way you choose to use it. From giving deceitful devils a bargaining chip, to giving your favorite NPC a way to show off their magical muscles and sending your pious pilgrims on a quest to recover the lost Mastery for bringing their deity -temporarily- into the world.

You get 184 pages, filled with over 1000 Masteries, ranging from Uncommon to Legendary. Enough to ensure that you have tools to bring the magic of your world into play in another dimension of arcane and spiritual mastery.

What is a Mastery?

The Masteries work as twists on existing spells, essentially turning it into an almost new spell. It might make the spell more harmful, more beneficial, more chaotic or more story-oriented. For example, a simple Mastery might allow you to use Create or Destroy Water as an offensive spell, another allows you to chain several Continual Flames together, and have them react programmatically to the presence of others. More complex (legendary) spells can turn your conjured sharks into terrors of the sky, allow your beneficiaries of Mass Healing to sing of goodness and share the healing with yet others, or turn your Guardian of Faith into a necrotic reaper, animating the corpses of those it slays.

There is much to discover within. Be wary of what you grant your players, be playful in what you allow your NPCs to do, and above all be inspired!
