  • Blank PDF form is also included, for Homebrew Monsters, and other monsters that aren't included.
  • Keep track of initiative.
  • The front panel (the side facing away from the DM) has a white block, where you can upload a monster image, for visual reference to the players. IMAGES NOT INCLUDED
  • Form Field to enter Spell Save DC and Passive Insight if you choose to add it to the monster.
  • Easily access all the information for all of the SRD monsters, without having to repeatedly check the monster manual.
  • These Cards can fold along the dotted lines to perfectly fit the official DM screen, or up to a 1/2 in, to fit custom DM screens, or just fold them and set them on the table, as shown in the thumbnail image
  • Length of the card is based on the amount of information that the card has (maximum of 7.25 inches)
  • You can Laminate these cards to make them highly reusable with dry-erase markers.

Common Questions:

What's SRD?

See here

How do I print these?

For printing, depending on your printer, you should be able to do multiple per sheet via Adobe Acrobat. I recommend printing landscape and doing 1x3, which should avoid any shrinking.

What kind of paper should I use?

For paper, I recommend anything above 20lb paper, to avoid transparency, but don't use cardstock, just because it's a waste of money. If you laminate them, they become highly reusable via dry-erase markers, and, if you don't laminate them, you will likely be going through them pretty quickly, so I would print as needed.

It looks like the font/size on some of the fields for the Monster Tracker form is different from the pre-filled monster trackers. Could you adjust this? It's too small in the form version.

For the blank monster trackers could you please create a "multi" version like with the character initiative trackers? The free version of Adobe Acrobat can't do what's needed to print multiple blank cards or custom monsters on one page, and I haven't figured out a way to do it in other programs.

I cant seem to get the description lines to expand with more text I see it says the length of the tracker will expand with more text and I see a PLUS sign on the pdf that indicated the block of text can expand but I cant seem to do it. any tips? also is thee a way to delete unused description lines for the blank templates?

I can't get the blank ones to print multiple. I think the pdf needs to have multiple on it to be able to do that, and it only has one..

Yeah, Patrick doesn't seem to understand that the free version of Adobe Acrobat can't do this, which is really frustrating.

The Hook Horror is not an SRD monster. It is licensed, so I cannot sell it.

What edition is this for? The popup indicates 5e and Pathfinder, but nothing in the description or example clarifies this.

You should be able to print "Multiple pages per sheet", which should allow to 3-4 cards per sheet.

Follow up: is there an easy way to print multiples of the same monster on the same page? For example, if I wanted 6 hobgoblin cards on the same page, how could I do that?

Unfortunately, for that one, I do not have a good answer. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, and can copy the pages out of the PDF, and build my own PDF from those, but I do not know how someone with Pro would be able to do that. I am sorry.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
