if you love reading about the more dangerous creatures of Athas this book is for you!

Also has some callbacks to early module bad guys Zeburon one of my favorites. Now let's get to the Crux of the matter the sorcerer kings and queens. this is amazing reference material for them and almost all of the concept art form I agree with. The valley of dust in fire did a better job with the Dragon of Tyr though!

fantastic book, which goes without saying. learn hiw tge game was played, 5then and now. learn what maies tge game so great. My only complaint us the cover was changed from the iroginal cover, however the quality of printbus fantastic. I have ten more wirds to complete this review, so mission accomplished!

A little disappointed in this. Text is barely legible on some pages. Furthermore, the maps have been printed on the inside of the cover, making it difficult to use without removing the cover entirely.

Fairly entertaining module, but it feels a bit railroad-y and needs some re-working by a DM. Jarring omission of a lengthy passage for page 25.

The module idea is great. The setting is awesome. However, this module does need some work. But for an experineced DM this isnt a problem, its a gift (experienced DMs love this). As it is an expert module, if the DM knows their player's characters well, by this point in their adventuring career, the DM should be able to add extra hooks NPCs and sub-plots to get people invested into the Module. Overall its a good module idea. It just suffered from the small 34 page count required at this time.

Text runs very close to the spine on many pages. It can be read but it's a little annoying and requires straightening out. .

Only problem I have with this module is that the grey text boxes are hard to read. If the grey had been a shade lighter it would've been less of a problem.

Overall though, it's well printed modules. The last few pages of coloured maps are especially crisp and sharp.

Warning: the PDF version of the Rules Cyclopedia is very low resolution (blurry). They give you two pdfs on dtrpg: One is very low resolution (160mb), and the other is VERRRY low resolution (95mb). It seems the POD hardcopy version of this book uses a much higher resolution scan; I really wish they would make that one available as a pdf because clearly they have it for the POD. I’m currently looking to buy a used POD on eBay because I’m sick of trying to read this blurry mess on my iPad.

This is a hard genre to make a game for, but 3rd Edition Boot Hill does a great job.

Would get a higher rating if it were print on demand in hard cover.

Great dungeon crawl for the fall season! I did wish the maps provided were a little more in-detail for ease of use, but my players really enjoyed the different traps and puzzles this module provided. There's a couple of really creative environmental interactions that really excited my players. There's a DMPC you can use or that the players can reject. I found her to be a cute character that I couln't really keep up with due to being somewhat inexperienced at straightup dungeon crawls. This module seems more focused on the exploration and combat pillars than social, which is probably just not to my personal taste. This module is very good at what it does, I just discovered that what it does is not really my thing.

I purchased this a while ago. I love it. However, why is the Expert set available on POD, but not this version? Seems like both would be a good thing to have on POD.
