One of my personal favourites. Excellent craftsmanship, nicely done deck plans, perfect for inspiration or giving your PCs a good sense of their fabolous military space ship. Also the deck plans of the small crafts like the tank and the fighters gives you a nice feeling. For me, as a sci fi gamemaster a "must have".

Don't get me wrong. These are fantastic plans, and the price point is great. But if you're getting these for a VTT, the big sets are kind of a pain to set up. I found some of the sections did not line up for me on this one, but I still made it work. I'm sure it's a piece of cake if you're printing up stuff, but this one was a little more difficult for VTT. If you're running Map Tool or the like, the smaller plans are a lot easier to set up because there's big JPG files included. Not the case with the bigger sets.
All that said, I still give it 5 stars because you can't find great plans like this anywhere else on DTRPG. I have purchased nine sets of these plans, and these are the first ones I've had an issue with and it's because of what I do with the plans.

Ok, so I was a little skeptical when I saw this, especially because the preview did not load on my computer. So I bought the mercury trio just to see if I was throwing away $5. All I can say is wow. I haven't even read the write ups yet, but the art is fantastic. Definitely worth the price.

This ship plan is just great.
The Renegade contains a shuttle and a 4x4 Rover buggy - very nice.
The download contain 3 files: main (16 pages), pages (14 pages), and uncut (1 page).
A great choice of optional layers.
Artwork: Good.
Good data on the G4 Rover and shuttle.
At £3.28 it's well worth the price.
I'll definitely be looking at more of these in the near future.

Very well layed out booklet for a multi role transport. Excellent presentation and I like the Layers used in the PDF file to show (or hide) cargo and onboard vehicles for printing

A nice little spaceship perfect to be the first home of a group of adventurers. Old, beat-up, cramped, but is home! Small and common enough to not draw attention wherever it passes, yet it has space for weapons, smuggled cargo, hidden fugitives and adventure! I really liked the character bios that came with it, the crew makes the ship after all. And even if you use your own crew, the atmosphere that all that material creates is perfect to inspire your campaign.

Simply amazing. Beautiful. And helped me flesh out a Crazy Ivan direction my PCs took this week quickly.
I can't recommend the Future Armada series enough...

If you have a need for a good quality spaceship with detailed background and excellent plans (including battlemaps for miniature use), take a look at this. The Renegade class of starships, we are told, was designed as a multipurpose vessel capable of hauling cargo, moving passengers, exploration, reconnaissance, and light combat duty... just the sort of thing the average party of star-faring adventures would love to get their hands on, whatever ruleset you are using.
The background information is copious, written in a 'future history' style that brings the whole vessel alive within the context of the alternate reality your characters inhabit. There are detailed views from different angles, pictures of the ship in use (on orbit and landed), detailed deck plans with descriptive notes... and includes a dedicated kitchen, something often left out of starship designs but something that would delight one of my Traveller characters who doubles as chef and jump-drive technician! Even the couple of vehicles - a shuttle/life boat and a wheeled rover - are treated with the same level of detail, the same care and attention (and lots of pictures).
And that's just the main booklet you get in your download. There are two further books, one being a set of 'map pages' that can be printed, trimmed and used whenever you need a large scale map of the habitable portions of the ship - combat, especially if you use miniatures, springs to mind. The other has the same floorplan in one massive image - if you want to use a virtual tabletop program to show your players where they are, or have access to a commercial print facility it may be of use.
Just lovely. Just the sort of ship in which to travel the galaxy, getting into all kinds of adventure...

Future Armada, the gold standard for starship deckplans unveils another excellent ship, this one similar in size to the Lakota, and with a hull design that fits in perfectly with the Serenity/Firefly setting.
The previews speak for themselves to the products quality, and this one has a couple new features, it takes advantage of the "layers" feature of PDF's, allowing users to easily hide cargo/shuttles, grid lines etc, for custom printing of the product.
Also of note this ship no longer offers up d20 style stats, and instead features a 1-5 star rating on things such as offensive capability, durability, maneuverability, relative cost, etc, letting GMs easily convert the ship to the rule system of their choice.
Over all the formatting changes help give the deckplans a streamlined feel and make it easier to use then ever before, and best of all, don't add any additional cost to the product.
5 Stars all the way.
On a side note this ships appearance/contours (Like some others of the future armada line) are also streamlined enough to make an excellent submarine for sea faring sci games like Blue Planet; or any ocean based adventures your Shadowrun group may get involved in.

I once joked here that writing reviews of the Armada ship plans is somewhat pointless. Read the ship description ... look at the preview pictures. If it all looks like something you'd use in your gaming, buy it.
These inexpensive deckplans from Ryan Wolfe are, pound for pound, the best out there, plan and simple.

Yay another ship to add to the collection. Looks like a flexible and useful design as well. Only one thing. . . I'm not sure having a shuttle bay right behind the command centre is a good idea. Other than that this looks good.
