World of Greyhawk Fantasy Game Setting (1e)

These scans are nice, although since they are derived from an analog (non-digital) work, they do not look as good as the modern (digitally published) books do. However, having said that, I think these scans are about as good as you're going to get with current technology, and when I did a test print (I printed page 4 of the first book, "Eastern Oerik in Relation to...") and compared it to the actual 30+ year old book that I still have in my "vintage" D&D collection, and I couldn't tell the difference. Bravo!

As for the maps, when you zoom in on them, they are very clear at both 200% and 300% magnification, which is perfect for just about any game-related purpose. You can easily make out place names, map markings, and hex borders at those magnifications. Again, these maps were originally analog (paper) entities, so you can see the flaws (creases in the paper, slight printing imperfections, etc.) but these flaws are MINOR, and are EASILY overlooked, considering how useful the famous Darlene maps are to us Greyhawk aficionados.

The file sizes are small (10, 13, and 10 MB, respectively) which is great for being able to import them to a mobile device. (I have them on my iPhone 5.) That's the best thing about any PDF book, is the portability; I used to carry around a big, heavy, dufflebag full of D&D books. Now, I just whip out either my phone or my iPad, and BAM, I'm good to go.

Overall, these scans are superb, and for $9.99, you cannot go wrong. Hooray for DnDClassics! Great job!

Monster Manual (3.5)

As with the PHB and DMG for 3.5 ed, the MM for 3.5 is equally well-made; beautiful, high-resolution page images which stand up to the "zoom-in" test quite well. I have yet to see any flaws in the images for these pages, in any of these (3.5 core rules) books, and the font is crystal clear, even at 600% magnification. Like the other two books, it is fully indexed and searchable, and you get all this for a modest file size of 32 MB, which is fantastic, in my opinion, since portable devices (iPhones / iPads) love small file sizes. Lastly, for only $9.99, it's beyond what you would normally call a "bargain;" a more apt description might be, "deal of the year." I am extremely happy with this book, and I am confident that others will share my enthusiasm.

Player's Handbook (3.5)

This PDF book is beautiful, and the small file size (39 MB) makes it very convenient for use on portable devices (e.g., iPhone, iPad, etc.) I haven't seen any flaws on the pages yet, and I love the resolution! With the graphics, you don't start noticing pixels until you get past 200% zoom; with the text, you can zoom to 600%, and the letters still look perfect! In fact, at 600%, the letters look like master-level, hand-written calligraphy! I can't say enough good things about this book! It is, of course, fully indexed and searchable, and is very legible even on small screens (such as the iPhone 5, which is what I have it on.) Add to that the fact that it costs a mere $9.99, and you've got a surefire winner!

Dungeon Master's Guide (3.5)

Beautiful, rich colors, and delightfully high resolution make this PDF book extremely attractive, especially considering the file size (33 MB); it is fully indexed and searchable, and I have detected no flaws in the page images. This is your "go-to" DMG if you're playing 3rd edition. I downloaded mine to Dropbox, then used my iPhone's Dropbox app to import it into my Kindle app. Now I can peruse it at my leisure, no matter where I am. You can't go wrong with this PDF book, especially for a mere 9.99; I highly recommend it!
