I went all in when they made an official Power Rangers Roleplaying game and unfortunately hated it. The game did not capture the feel of the genre or property at all. After making that huge investment I discovered this book and found everything I had been looking for. The book let's you run a huge variety of live action Japansese action style games, but so far I have only used it for Super Sentai style games. I've run both new characters and recreated the characters from TV as well very easily. I had a player want to play a Kamen Rider instead of a Power Ranger and had no issue include him into the scenario as well.

I very quickly fell in love with how the book handles mechanics such as combined mech combat without leaving any of the players out. The approach of scale helps to make the concpets for the type games I wanted to run very easy to handle without drastically changing mechanics. I have bought countless games trying to recreate this style of story at the table and they all felt like they were missing something. Savage Tokusatsu was exactly what I was looking for and I cannot praise the book enough. Eventually I need to try the other styles of campaigns it enables as well.

I am a person whose live revolves around my pets. In movies and TV shows I check websites to see if the dog lives before committing to the show. As such I was very happy to have a setting rule in place to ensure that no pets die in the course of a game. That is easily a concern when playing household pets.

The actual product has adorable art and clever edges\hindrences for multiple pet races. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Birds, and Snakes are all now playable races. With my distaste for snakes I have not given them a proper test, but the inclusion of rabbits enabled me to run a game based on one of my favorite childhood book series Bunnicula. It is about a vampire rabit that drains the juice from vegatables. The races and setting rules included her made the one shot simple to setup and has inspired me to combint it with the SuperPowers Companion to run a SuperPets game in the near future.

The book is a perfect fit to run games for your children or animal lovers.

Quick little condensed game with plenty of charts for random character and story generation. This game is great for large groups of anime fans. Not a system to be used for campaigns or serious games, but perfect for a fun diversion.

Well written book with stats for a variety of dinosaurs. The included adventure is perfect for a Jurasic Park style game. Well worth the money.

This is a well written nostalgic romp through 80s action adventure. The author took the time to include a chart of common 80's slang for younger players to help them really capture caracters living in that era. With properties like Stranger Things set in the 80s and upcoming sequels like Ghostbusters it is the perfect time to call back to a time when over the top action was mixed with comedic moments and a sense of adventure and fun.

This was one of the better Adventures for my style of play that I have seen in Adventure League. There is a large RP setting to start off and all the combats except the final one are optional based on RP and social skills. The adventure is more of an investigation than anything else with the players going from location to location looking for clues. The end goals are a little weak, but the major NPCs are fairly well described.
