Having already played a number of sessions of this (thanks to the backer preview via kickstarter) I can say this is for me, the best edition of Exalted yet. Lots of great stuff and plenty of campaigns worth of material in this first book.

Lots of new material, some very interesting takes on what you can do with Exalted in alternate settings. All of them either worthy of running a few games of - or sparking ideas that can come through to a "standard" Exalted game.

Also - a full set of primordial charms! (For the Malfeas that was before). Well worth the purchase price!

A good book and a solid addition to the Exalted line. So far what I've read looks very good - and if I ever run a game in Autochthonia I'm sure this will be a big help (It's also just a fun read in general if you are into Exalted).

I'd have preferred it if we could have got the whole thing in one go, and I'd probably prefer an updated revisit of any of the existing compasses over this. Still well worth it, but no matter how well written it is, it is going to be one of the books that I use the least out of the 2nd edition line up.

Updated with Solar charms which now live up to the original billing and a great CMA for Sidereals, this is well worth your money. The charms section in this set is now as large as one of the Manual of Exalted books, and I really can't recomend this book enough if you play a Solar or a Sidereal.

The two non mechanical books are very good to read as well, the guide to Meru is excellent and the Lands of Creation book is a very fun read.

Firstly, it is worth pointing out this isn't the end of the Exalted line, White Wolf have already released details of several new books that will be released in the coming months (not to mention the free stuff available on the Ink Monkies blog on the White Wolf website), all the new releases will be .pdf only - hence the note at the end that looks like an end of the line comment (but most definitely isn't).

I found this book a fun read, the expansion of the Ebon Dragon charms presented in Infernals to give a near complete set of charms for a Yozi is a very welcome addition. The plot seeds are interesting, and a welcome addition (as are the smattering of DB and Solar charms).

All things considered a very welcome release and well worth the money.

Manual of Exalted Power: The Alchemicals is a great step up from the first edition version. This time we get a book purely devoted to the Alchemical Exalted (who are solid canon, rather than an optional extra as they were in 1st ed). Gone is the series of dubious stories which you could use to integrate Alchemicals into your 1st edition game and instead we get more useful information on Alchemicals.

Two great martial arts are included (yes, we actually get to see Thousand Wounds Gear Style) and everything else that you would expect to see from the talented crop of freelancers that we currently have working on Exalted 2nd Ed.

I seriously recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something new to add to their Exalted games.

A superb product. Great setting material in the first half, and then a much needed reworking of DB charms (along with a bunch of new ones) in the second half.

Yes, you can get the updates to the DB charmset in the errata - but this book is more than worth it for the new charms and the fluff at the start.

This book is worth buying three times over. To start with the write-up of the Maidens is fantastic. Then we get some Greater Arts of Astrology which really expand what Sidereals can do. Finally we get a balanced SMA, along with two superb CMAs.

If any of your players or major NPCs are Sidereals, or you want to play around with Crane or Crystal Chameleon style martial arts, or you want to be able to interact with the Incarnae - then get this book!

Some very nice writeups of NPCs in this book. To have gotten 5 *s from me this would have needed to include some more information on high XP versions of the writeups and a few more custom charms, but I still think that this book offers good value for money.

I can't say enough good things about this book.

The write-up for Luna is superb, brilliant crunch to back up (and reinforce) a far more in-depth write-up of the Incarnae than we have ever seen before.

The extra charms for Lunars are welcome and interesting.

I'd be surprised if you didn't find something on every page of this book that made you glad you had purchased it.

A very nice product overall. Some wonderful setting information, and a series of writeups that give you more than enough reasons to include them in your game.

Some of the crunch (notably the few mutations in the book) aren't quite to the level I'd expect, but for $6.99 you really can't ask for better value for money.

Many people questioned if we needed "another" splat which dealt with corrupted Solars. All I can say after reading this is - YES WE DO!

A truly great book for Exalted 2nd ed. Some of the most evocative mechanics backing up the well described Yozi charms really help to ensure that any NPC or PC created with this book will have a lot more than just "new special powers" to add to your RP experience. This book features some very clever systemics which means that the Green Sun Princes are very different from their Solar and Abyssal cousins.

A really good read!

Great product! This book really fleshes out Malfeas. Some very evocative setting information and some wonderfully inventive crunch. (Lots of 1st, 2nd and 3rd circle demons to expand upon ROGD II). If you have a sorcerer in your group who likes to summon demons, or your players are ever likely to interact with Malfeas I can't recommend this book enough.
